any how's for a IB setup in a 5th gen??

hye guys like the title says...im looking to put either a 8" or 10" IB sub in a 5th gen. I know a few people have already done this, but any way i could get a small word only how to?? i know ill need a some kind of MDF ring to mount the sub in the old Bose hole. BUT i read some place that if i put the ring under the rear deck and take out the tension bars i can fit a 10" and still use the Bose sub cover with no problems? so am i correct with this assumption?

Sub

Rear Deck
-----------------
MDF Ring

also any suggestions on a sub?? im looking for the strongest RMS i could find, b/c this will be my last system do over.

Instead of rings, use a mdf board cut to shape.
