One of my componenets is no longer working. The left woofer is silence as can be. I took it out, swapped it with the right one, and it came right one. The tweeter still works on the right, but no sound.

I'm gonna open it back up tonight as soon as i find my volt meter, to make sure it isn't my cross-over, but would the tweeter work and woofer not if it was my cross-over?

 

The likelihood is that the woofer is blown. If it came right on when you put the other one in, there shouldn't be any other problem but that left woofer being blown.

Lets just verify what you did..... Everything is working then the left woofer stops, you put the right woofer into the left woofers spot and it works. At this time the right side tweeter is still playing but no woofer since its not hooked up, and the left side tweeter works fine?

i haven't even had these comps for all that long, i guess im kinda sad, but i'll have to get over it, and get some new ones.

i'm gonna take em out and test them, i loved these comps, so i guess i'm gonna start looking for something new....there goes my bonus money

 

Um what about warranty?
