5th gen Bose in a 4th gen

Can you put a 5th gen bose in a 4th gen? In looking at the connectors on the back, it looks like it would work. I have a 97 maxima.

5th gen uses a single amp, 4th gen uses individual amps. Wouldn't work unless you got the entire harness out of the 5th gen from trunk to HU.

Nilesh, 00's and 01's had the plate amp right?

Single am on the rear deck, with only a heatsink and harnesses showing?
