Low End Need a Quality SQ(L) 15...

Alright. I blew up my **** diamond audio tdx so im in a dilemma...I refuse to pay diamond for another woofer, and i was considering two more of these from another forum. Turns out diamond is doing zero repairs so im forced to find something to fit in my current setup.

Ive fiberglassed a box for a single fifteen which gives me just at 2.7~2.8 before displacement. This is the Problem...SEALED I know. But im currently stationed overseas and want to et this set for when i return and wont have the faciliies to start fabricating something else upon coming back.

I need something basically that will let me use the same box and amplifier.

Ive been out of it for awhile and REALLY dont want to spend the g that i was tempted to with the re mx. The subs that Im leaning on currently are
Choices
Stereo Integrity MagD2 (Heard great things but havent HEARD one)
DLS Ultimate 15 (99 sensitivity?)
MMATS Dreadnaut?? Seems to be decent reviews out there...(Good deal on1)
TC Sounds 3000 (Maybe use with a passive radiator or )
RL-p (Would look to radiate tis one as well mon)
CVX (I can get this for about 225) Would be the easiest order and drop in.
FI-Audio Q!?
Pricewise, im to the point that id ike to save the larger amount of money for setting up my truck when i get back, but i need to fix this...**** Rainbows with NO BASS is horrible...feel kinda silly...Ive been through their site but didnt come across a sub that fit within the box specs. 279 isnt that bad. Ive noted people are bragging on em.

This was another that i was considering that was recommended by a friend,Don. I know that its probably in the price range of the RE MX that i was looking at though. Although the wattage req. would leave me with plenty of headroom

Speaker type : Subwoofer
Impedance : 2 x 2 ohm
Size : 15" (35 cm)
Power handling capacity : 500 W RMS / 1200 W for SPL use
Frequency range : 15-2000 Hz
Sensitivity : 99,9 dB (1W/1m)
X-max : +- 12 mm (0,47")
Fs: 33,2 Hz Re: 1,25 Qes: 0,35 Qms: 4,22 Qts: 0,32 BL: 8,49 Vas: 191,7 l (6,77 cuft)
Recommended sealed enclosure : Volume 54,5 liters/1,92 cuft. F3: 67,5 Hz

thanks for the help, as ive been out of it for a short.

I have a pair of dual 2 ohm Fi Q 15's for sale. I would be willing to split them up. Let me know. BTW, sorry to hear about the death of a great sub.

Avalanche 15 would have some ridiculous low end, but with that size box I would not give it more than around 600 watts if you listen to rap at high volumes.

I agree Rich, except he has the Xtant 1001d already. But the AVA is a great low power moster.

AHHAAA>...

Alright what you looking for for them. Someone had a pair of tdx's, when i was looking to go to three woofers I was going to get on those, but their service really pissed me off when i talked to the tech so i wont be going back to that. Was a great sub. but it obviously wasnt meant to be

i would love to get something that is more efficient and still have good solid sound, and allow me to have more headroom on the amp. but i was under the impression that the av's were gone.

I was the one who had the pair of TDX 15's. Well a good friend of mine who isnt on forums and has them collecting dust.

I was debating trying a TC3000 a little while back myself.

Depends on if you want one or both. I will do $250 for one or $500 for both. Both prices are shipped.

yeah...mine died the third day. My mother said my little cousins been abusing it. he also killed my microvision, but i wasnt worried about that really. But when i called diamond, they claim that even if the woofers are under warranty, they arent covering or repairing anything. I was implicitly told, go see a dealer and buy another one. needless to say. Although my partner is REALLY enjoying his, i really feel that id pay more to another company just not to support em. and ive been a diamond fan since my first set of comps back in like 02 or so.

noted, youve got a pm as well. He has an offer on both...but i think tha pricewise that sounds decent for the truck setup as well especially considering the space reqs need some comps as well

Don is saying you took off ZERO dollars for buying 2 woofers. typically buying in bulk=discount.

Good point, out of context.
