Need a Quality 15...1000watts Sealed Enclosure...

Alright. I blew up my **** diamond audio tdx so im in a dilemma...I refuse to pay diamond for another woofer, and i was considering two more of these from another forum. Turns out diamond is doing zero repairs so im forced to find something to fit in my current setup.

Ive fiberglassed a box for a single fifteen which gives me just at 2.7~2.8 before displacement. This is the Problem...SEALED I know. But im currently stationed overseas and want to et this set for when i return and wont have the faciliies to start fabricating something else upon coming back.

I need something basically that will let me use the same box and amplifier.

Ive been out of it for awhile and REALLY dont want to spend the g that i was tempted to with the re mx. The subs that Im leaning on currently are
Choices
Stereo Integrity MagD2 (Heard great things but havent HEARD one)

DLS Ultimate 15 (99 sensitivity?) Specs are below

MMATS Dreadnaut?? Seems to be decent reviews out there...(Good deal on1)

TC Sounds 3000 (Maybe use with a passive radiator for additional output )

RL-p (Would look to radiate tis one as well mon)

CVX (I can get this for about 225) Would be the easiest order and drop in.

FI-Audio Q!? New company i guess. Decent reviews.

Pricewise, im to the point that id ike to save the larger amount of money for setting up my truck when i get back, but i need to fix this...**** Rainbows with NO BASS is horrible...feel kinda silly...Ive been through their site but didnt come across a sub that fit within the box specs. 279 for the Fi isnt that bad. Ive noted people are bragging on em on caraudio forums, but their fickle as hell...

This was another that i was considering that was recommended by a friend,Don. I know that its probably in the price range of the RE MX that i was looking at though. Although the wattage req. would leave me with plenty of headroom from my amp. BUt 12mm Xmax? WTF?

Speaker type : Subwoofer
Impedance : 2 x 2 ohm
Size : 15" (35 cm)
Power handling capacity : 500 W RMS / 1200 W for SPL use
Frequency range : 15-2000 Hz
Sensitivity : 99,9 dB (1W/1m)
X-max : +- 12 mm (0,47")
Fs: 33,2 Hz Re: 1,25 Qes: 0,35 Qms: 4,22 Qts: 0,32 BL: 8,49 Vas: 191,7 l (6,77 cuft)
Recommended sealed enclosure : Volume 54,5 liters/1,92 cuft. F3: 67,5 Hz

thanks for the help, as ive been out of it for a short.sites for each are below...

dammit. i posted in your other one a whole speech and lost it all cus the thread was deleted...

anyways, the jist of it was,

Any of what you suggested im sure you'd be happy with.. though im not sure why kicker is there, they're not in the same league as the rest..

I've heard good things about the SI Mag as well, and the SS, I'd either go for one of those, or the Fi Q, just to be different as they're a new brand and not too many people have them.

slickrick has a SS 15 i think, im sure he'll chime in soon..

ok...
the kicker i figured more spl, same as the mmats...

i think im going to holler at him about it. Ill be back in korea in a couple days. Looking at it...I like the list of em, so im stuck on the fence. Im still pissed about the TDX, but even more on their service policy...bastages..

budget, i want to stay about 5 or below. had my dumb *** not glassed the damn box, i would just start over. but coming back, im unsure of how my housing will be and if i will have a shop area available. I dont want to get into having a shop do my setup. And i know i will never sell a sealed 15 box so i got to find something to go with this.

That av, series? 1 or 2. if available, ive heard that was as good as the magnum.

Lol How much premium? Im looking to work something over for the truck. but if your quote was accurate on the dls, i think i may have to hit two of them over on the truck.

The 2000 and 3000 will work, the box is 1cube too small for the lmt

I was factoring that in on the q's but CA is raving about them so i took it a little in stride . What do you think the quality of ound was for someone that listens to a mix or jazz, gospel, rnb, some rap? it seems to fit the box specs perfectly and im looking for something thatll hold its own MUSICALLY moreso than BOOM

Based on what you want, and the reviews I've read from the few somewhat reputable people on ca.com, I think the Magnum might be worth a shot for the music you listen to.

Eh I've already mentioned it but for the price I think a used Ava 15 could be had for around $200 shipped which IMO is a great price for a beefy sub.

no specific examples but considering they were 250 new after Chad said **** Adire...years later I'm sure an ava 15 (if ever put up for sale) could be had for around there. an ava 12 is going for around 180 on ca.com so a 15 IMO could be had for around there when put up f/s.

the "great 12" challenge is what slowed me up on that sub. The rlp looks to be a pretty solid performer, but the sound ratings they gabe the twelve were middle of the road. whats your take on something like what i listen too?

i dunno...what do you listen to? heh

i've thrown everything at my sub and it performs fine. it'll play rammstein to mozart and everything in between. i think loyd commented about how the rl-p's reponse is pretty flat overall...which is great for blending in my opinion.

I think you have found your sub. It will get pretty loud but sounds great. A very musical sub.
