What speakers to get??

Ok... I don't usually don't post in the audio forum, but I just want to get some advice. Please don't flame me!!! It's actually for my gf's jeep, but she just got the Pioneer 4800 deck. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134702498186
I didn't pay that much.. don't worry
Anyways.. the left 5-1/4 speaker on the rollbar is distorting pretty badly when you turn it up loud at all... so I thought I would get your guys recommendations. Crutchfield live chat recommended the JBL GTO series, because it is one of the only ones that fits in the stock speaker grill, making it look clean and stock. I'm leaning towards that, but let me have your opinions. The deck will be the only thing running it, not an amp.

JBL's may do the trick, but they may not have very much midbass.

Not sure if they'll fit, but consider the Boston Acoustics - I've had many over the years and have never (ever) found a reason to complain... They have great frequency response and good power handling. Also, the BA 5.25s have GREAT upper end frequency response - and since these are fronts, you'll want that (let the larger rears or rear-placed sub handle the sub level frequencies)...

The MTX TDX series are a great bang for the buck. They are shollow mounting as well as great low and mid range. Also the high end is of lower efficenty so you are not getting a screaming tweater in your ear

bostons are a bit pricey. not sure you can find some decent ones under 100, plus they're rather power hungry. but yeah, they do indeed make some nice drivers.
