Wanna see something sexy?

Wassup guys? Been a LONG LONG time since I have visited my old stomping grounds. Just wanted to give you guys something to drool over. Its the final piece n my active two-way setup, unless something changes . My frontstage has been n the works for more than a year, and I've finally got all my equipment.

you sir are indeed a n00b. Its an EQ, where would you even get the idea of an amp, especially tube?

The pics on eBay r mine, I do have it F/S. Its a Buy It Now, and its definatly on the high-end of the price scale.

The rest of my 2-way active front-stage will consist of:

- ID CD1e-v2 full-body horns...powered by a PPI Art A100
- IDQ 8s...powered by a PPI Art A300

- X-over duties will be handled by a Coustic XM6, hopefully will upgrade to a PPI DCX-1000 w/ controller
- EQ duties will be handled by the Orion Concept 97.2

Since I haven't installed anything yet, things may change before I install.

Here's a pic w/ flash on, you can really c how MINT this EQ is...

? for the active gurus...

What would be a good mid to use if I decided to switch to mini-bodies? Something very efficent, that can be run off of 50-100w. I was thinking about trying to find a pair of IDQ 6s...you think they could fill the gap b/t the minis and the 8s? I should be fine with 2-way as l run the full-bodies. This will definatly be a well documented install with lots of pics. Hopefully will have the install supplies by mid Feb.

I wanted one, but missed the excellent deal that you had on them a couple months ago. Now they're going for around $300. If I get the EQ sold, I may be looking for one. If I keep the EQ, I wanna run all o/s orion. Since nothing is installed, and knowing how I am, the setup may change a couple of times before it goes in. I think the only thing I WILL be keeping will be the IDQ 8s.

I thought so, but just checking . It wouldn't be heavy enough to stop a door anyway. I swear I hate this car audio addiction...I have finally got all my equipment, and already thinking about selling it all and going another route. I hate selling equipment though...especially all this O/S stuff.
