I was thinking about putting in a Sony CDX-M610 head unit, Infinity 6953i 3-way speaker in the rear, Infinity Kappa 462.3cf in the front, 2 100 watt Bazooka bass tubes in the trunk and Infinity perfect T tweeters in the front as well. Don't know just yet what amplifier to go with yet. Which brand amp do you guys recommend. Also if anyone has a dvd player setup in their ride please send me some info and ideas on how to conceal.

sounds good to me

except for the Sony deck, I'd go with a Kenwood or Pioneer or Eclipse. I have a Sony 600 "black-out" deck, but I only got that cuz I got a really good deal on a pair of Sony 10-disc changers.

For Amps, as long as you're not buying Jensen you should be OK. Also, If you're thinking of running a pair of amps, get a nice 2-gauge power wire (I have a 4-gauge running a Pioneer 400-watt and an Orion 600-watt, and it cuts out at high volume)

If your into MP3s, get the JVC KH-SD99. That unit is awesome, and it has three 4V outputs, so you can run a seperate line to your tubes. If you're not into MP3s, Alpine makes some nice HU's with BBE, which is a great feature. I have one 10" Bazooka, and it sounds great, two would be even better. If you can afford it, I'd recommend buying the passive bazookas, and buying external amps. The bazooka amps are a little weak, but not bad at all. While we're on the subject of Amps, I recomend Alpine V12s. They are very clean and powerful, and they are rated at 12V, so the specs are always less than the amp really puts out. I also have the infinity Kappas, both in the front and back of my car. I would go for the 693.1i Kappas in the back, and a component set up front. My buddy just bought the 6.5" component Kappas for his GSR, and they sound awesome.

i'd forget the 3-ways in the rear and get the 2-ways, you'll save a few bucks since the rear fill isn't THAT important.

Yeah I just got the 2-way 6.75s in the back of mine and they are plenty loud. They make it seem like my 4x6s aren't even playing. Have them on a pioneer 30x4 and they are sounding really good. I haven't got my new subs yet so I can't say for sure, but I think the tweeters in the front would be a good idea too. CS
