Anyone try the new Bluetooth Unit from Alpine?

Alpine has a new Bluetooth adapter called KCE-300BT. Anyone have this unit with the new Alpine CDA-9885? Does it really show the phone information (Caller ID, Incoming calls, etc.) on the HU?

The unit that I have is a 100bt and it doesn't show info. I don't know about the 300bt.
Sorry

100BT is a complete joke. I installed it right before I put my Maxima away for winter so I had limited use of it.... but everyone complained that there is too much background noise while I am on the highway.

I need to reposition the MIC so its not so close to the windshield, I mounted mine right above the A-pillar by the windshield and I think its picking up wind noise.

It doesn't display nothing on my IVA-W200.... kinda pissed that the new 300BT will not work with the W200. I don't want to remove my W200 especially since I finally got it flush with the dash and I made myself a decoy faceplate for it using a stock BOSE radio face.

Alpine is really stupid..... I hate em for the 300BT not working with my W200, and 100BT being so "feature packed".... most of all I just got the BlackBird NAV a month ago, and now they got a NEWER version of it out..... ARGH.

Too much noise even with the windows closed? I was thinking about buying the 100BT, as I have an IVA-W200 also.

windows open- good luck getting ANYONE to hear ya. I don't know if its just the microphone or because I mounted it there....

I work on Acuras for a living and used their Bluetooth system and I can normally talk with people with all the windows and sunroof open at speeds up to 35MPH without it loosing any quality from the wind. This is in a 04+ TL, so I kinda expected the same with the 100BT..... once winter is over I will reposition the mic to right on top of the steering column, this should cure the wind buffering. Otherwise it works OK, but nothing to brag bout.

I have the IVA-W200 too. Do you have it flush with the dash? Did you have to modify the mounting plates any? I'm upgrading to the IVA-W205 because of the Bluetooth and the HD functions.

My W200 is flush mount, all you have to do is drill new screw holes about a 1/2 inch back. I too am waiting for the w205 and new Blackbird with bluetooth. Both items do not come out until Jun 07, so i'll just be waiting.

I spoke to an Alpine rep last week and he said early or middle June, bu tmore power to you if you get it earlier. I can get you the W205 and Blackbird for a real cheap price when it comes out, it is from an authorized dealer. Let me know if you are interested.
