Got bored so i posted pics of a remotestart i prewired.

Gettin ready to install this probably friday on a 2000 chevy silverado. Just wondering how many installers actually prewire.

I use connectors, and i solder bypass data wires, so there!

solder all day everyday over here . Its just the way i was taught.

every once in a long while we'll have a connector that came loose in a cus' car. its worth it to use them for the amount of reduced time it takes vs solder IMO.

when i was taught i was taught to solder every connection, i have nothing against t-taps but its just the way i was taught plus i cant figure out how those damn t-taps work haha j/k

I had one..door lock trigger. 3 minutes fixed it up real nice.

+1 on convenience.
