hey guys. i have a Kenwood HU and i'm trying to figure out, if at all possible, to change that blue/white background i get when i'm not playing a dvd. i didn't see an option within the menu and i can't seem to find any info online. i really want to be able to change that into a custom graphic i'm having done to go with the rest of my ideas for the car. anyone have any idea of how it may be done? or at least, if you've found any previous disccussion about this, point me on its way please. thanks!

 

from what i've been reading only the 7 series and 8 series kenwood H/U's support the custom wallpaper feature. the ddx7019, kvt719dvd, ddx8019, kvt-819dvd all support the custom wallpaper feature.

 

damn would it be possible to flash the rom or reprogram to unloack those features? kinda like what you do with video cards...

 

ive never heard of reflashing a H/U. i don't know even if its possible
