Hey guys, i have a 2000 Maxima SE and i recently installed a Clarion VRX755VD screen in her. When i put the radio on mute or when the sound is low, i hear a buzzing coming from all the speakers and it's driving me banana's. i know it's not the fan from the DVD player if that's what you guys are thinking. But damn is so annoying. Anyone ever had an issue like this and was able to resolve it?

recheck the ground on that HU.

Its designed to get rid fo unwanted noise..you may want to consider it.

 

where exactly does that plug into?

 

I believe it's in-line with your RCA's.

Why purchase a band-aid? Find the solution.

 

Inline for the HU..not the RCA. It actually filters out the crappy sounds from the 12V and ground wire that you might get from teh alternator or other interferences behidn the dash
