Hi all, I am not exactly a guru with car audio. Ive been working on setting up this new amp today in my car that I just got. This piece came with it, and the instructions are awful. can anyone tell me what it does? Ive had amps in my car before and I never had a wire like this anywhere. Thank you! Damn camera phone.

 

I believe that is the wiring harness that will allow you to use your factory HU with the amplifier. If you have an aftermarket HU with RCA preouts, you will not need this.

 

probably a high level input adapter. if you have ran RCAs for the amp, its not nessecary.
