ipod cable location on 4th gen
all you installers out there where are the normal places you guys route the wire for ipod hook up too.
i got a alpine 9883 and i'm getting the ipod cable. I'm looking at my console thinking where to drill a hole and run the wire. Cup hold. Ash tray slow. thru the pocket of the radio or just route it into the glove box.
normally if someone asked you to install it and you never remember to ask where would you install this to be the default.
if you guys have any install of ipod kits on a 4th gen please post up.

Cup holder seems to be a popular option, as it's obviously very easy to run a wire up there under the console. I've been thinking of doing the ash tray route with mine, I remember seeing someone post on here with a dock connector at the bottom of it and it looked pretty slick.

I had the PSP cable comin through the Ebrake boot at one point, concealed and easy to get out if need be. Also, I tried a hole in the center console, the arm rest is a nice spot. Here's a pic of mine from about a month ago. Granted, its a PSP, same concept...
