Question about wiring amp to stock headunit

Im trying to wire my amp to my stock headunit. Everything is wired except the signal cables. When i bought my car it came with a pac aai (auxilary audio imput) box. I figured that would be where it needs to be wired. I was wrong. Theres got to be something i can hook up to allow a signal to be sent to the amp. Can this also explain why my component speakers are not sounding better than stock. I need you help.

Just tap rca wires to the outputs from the HU, they are already low level and run rca's from that.

I was preoccupied for a while with work/class/bathroom renovation. I'm always around, just a phone call away. But I've got some free time now so I'll be schoolin noobs once again.

If you don't have a Bose you can run the speaker outs on the HU right to the high level inputs on your amp, if it has them.

Otherwise you will need a hi->lo converter.

ive got a high-low line output converter for sale. it has the rca preouts all you do is hook them up to the wires going to your stock speakers and you get an rca hook up, worked perfectly in my old car with bose sounded good too, but i now dont have a need for it.

the hi low has a left and right input. its positive and negative on each side. these wires get tapped onto the positive and negative wires on your rear speakers. you can use t taps to do this. and from there you plug in your rca and run that to the amp and now your amp has a signal
