I got a double din from a 97 SE in my 95 and was wondering if I can plug a 6disc indash cd player to it instead of the trunk mounted changer. If so, I found a dealer selling them for like $130. Anybody installed the indash under their double-din?

People have fit three DIN units in the dash, with a little modification. The bigger question is getting the changer to work with the stock radio. Is this a Nissan changer, or some other brand?

I'm talking about the oem indash changers are they compatible with the radio's changer plug? btw. I know for sure all I have to do is remove the bottom pocket to place the indash changer.
I also noticed you're a biker, I got a saris upright roofrack myself. Not many hills here in Baton rouge but we got an okay trail.

the deck fits physically, and the power connection/pass thru works fine. i just need to figure out the pin outs for the 8DIN round connector coming out of the CD changer and how to get it to plug into the 5DIN round connector in the back of the radio. might not work at all, but if anyone has any info, or a 8 pin to 5 pin adapter, let me know so I can try it out.

this may or not work, but we'll see...

you can see a pic attached of how it looks in the instrument stack of a 4th gen.

I'm not sure about the adapter. I checked pie.net, but it doesn't look like they have anything for Nissan changers.

The trails here in eastern PA are pretty decent, though the local ones are starting to feel a little short now that I'm back in shape.
