What guage wire do you use

What guage wire do you use

I am gonna wire in a 1000w punch power amp and i ordered a kit it has a 10 gauge power wire and the kit says its made for 1000w, but im iffy it looks too thin. So what are you running?

Use 4 gauge for that amp.

I agree. I'm using 4 Gauge just for two 10's with 750 watts. Was using like 10 or 8, then after i stepped up, i noticed more power and the amp wouldnt get as hot
