Better. More dense, rigid and stronger than MDF. They will reduce vibration/resonance substantially, but not absorb it like MDF/wood materials do.

when you say the poly rings "but not absorb it like MDF/wood materials do.", to you mean they won't absorb the vibration/resonance as well as the MDF ones, or they won't absorb water like the MDF's do?

Id like to hit 10+ which shouldnt be too difficult. They are available in both 3/4" and 1/2" but then we would need 10 for each. Id say keep it at 3/4" since its proven to work.
