I posted this on a different forum but I'll ask you anyway. Know any good shops? For either audio or tint? Or do you DIY? And if so (to the DIY), do you do work for others?

Got a friend out there who, Im not sure how far he got on getting the audio done, but still needs tint.

 

I got my tint done at a shop. Also for my audio, my friend built it for me. PM me.

heard the ultimo sub today. it sounds pretty effin good. the components were staged a bit low on some songs, but high in others. any idea what can cause that?

midbass in the doors, tweets and midrange in the kicks....all off axis.

 

Play with phasing a crossover points a bit. We can discuss via phone tomorrow if ya want.

buttttttt who cares, i know my setup sounds pretty darn goot with no staging issues. it's nice and high with nice LR separation. that darn 3" dome midrange is amazing even placed far down in the kicks. viet's morel sounds pretty darn good as well.

 

hmmm... when ya'll doin this again? i should be together enough to participate around ythe first of the year.

i feel like i said this last year too.

 

don't know yet, but we're thinking of holding this twice a year, so maybe another one around may-june?

it's pretty fun listening to all the various setups.

 

I just got the shipping notification for the mids. They are labeled as AA Havoc mids, so I am guessing that they are being marketed that way. I am looking forward to getting these in.
