Wow, I slept like a champ. Went to bed around 12, just got up about 20 mins ago. woot for being a student.

The last TDX sold last night. It will cover the cats vet bill atleast. Woot. The 2 SS PCA2000D's went home with thier owner too. I have room to buy things now.

nissan said they tried to call me this morning. but i didn't get a missed call or anything. i just called and *****ed at them for a little bit. they said they'll get the agent to call me back today asap. it's been a week since i drove my car. it's parked at home at the moment.

So a little update on the Diamond Audio ordeal. It will be 3 years next March Since I dropped the D61500.1 off at the B&M. The wife randomly drops by as she has a training in that town, about 1 hr from where we live now. They tell her that DA supposedly tried 3 times to send the new version of the amp D61200 on 3 occassions. UPS has record of it to. So the owner calls me today. Twice. I had to call him back as I missed his first call, then we played a short game of phone tag. Anyway, he tried to get Diamond to give me 2 D6 600.1's as they no longer make anything bigger than a 1100 in the D6 line. No go, they weren't going to send 2 amps. Even if it would be "more fair" for me. But whatever. So he has a new RA# for a new amp that should be back in stock by the second week of December. Looks like I will be getting a new D61100.1 as a replacement.

I am glad something good came of it. Looks like my office is going to have another box in it for a while.

 

True that. Maybe I'll recommend people shop at said B&M again. Not install though, wouldn't want anyone else to have crossovers mounted in doors with duct tape.

LOL. He apologized for forgetting the about the amp like 6 times. Honestly, he is a good guy. I just think he totally forgot. Atleast that is what he is making it sound like. He picked up JL right after he dumped Diamond b/c they billed him for demo equipment for one of his cars a year after he put it in. Like 16K worth. He said he would send the equipment back and they said no. So he stopped carrying them. Even though DA is making good on a previous messup, I will never buy anything from them again.

He told me JL has been leaps and bounds better as a supplier, and he is happy with them.
