no need for photoshop if you're still using XP. there's a plugin that lets you resize images very quickly. it's one of Windows power tools. once you install it, you just simply right click on the image and select resize.

Yea, I have the powertool installed.
However, It doesn't allow for custom pixel sizes. And IIRC, the pixel size required for an av is not one of the canned sizes the powertool uses.
