Setting Up For Components

So next week I'm going to install my components and my amp. Since im adding an amp to all the components, the speaker wires run directly to the amp so, With all the bose stuff in the car, should i just remove all of it (wires, connectors, amps) or just take out the bose speakers and leave everything be?

Pull the headunit and speakers and the mounts. Replace with MDF rings, and new speaker wire. Leave the oem stuff in tact out of the car in case you decide to go back to it.

its 4th gen 97 se. well, i was gonna use new speaker wire anyway. I already have a aftermarket head unit installed. when i opened up the dorr panel, there was alot of wires, and some thing that was an amp or a corssover idk. but when i put in my new ones, the speaker wires go to the amp, so everything else thats oem is worthless now. So, do i like cut the speaker connections on the back of the HU off and take out all the oem wire?

i'd keep your oem wiring in place. if you ever sell your car, you could just remount your old speakers and amps. it'd be a pain to try to figure out out to rewire everything back.
