audio cuts in and out
audio cuts in and out
Hey guys maybe you can help. A few weeks ago i was taking the g/f home, and her road is pretty narrow and has no lights. Well a truck was coming down the road, no f'n headlights on and had a trailer behind him. He went flying by and i swerved at the last second when i realized there was a trailer and the passenger side wheel struck a log of firewood in the road and we took a pretty good jar. The next day i was listening the the radio and driving and the audio just cut out. The cd was still playing. I switched to sirius, still nothing. I faded to the front, no change. The rear, same thing.
So i turned the stero off and back on, no fix. The next morning i went out to the car, and it was fine. Ever since it has done it off and on, and sometimes when the headunit comes on i hear a "pop" before the music starts. I pulled the head unit, no loose or damaged wires/connections. I checked the door and deck speakers, same thing. I have no idea what the hell is going on. I'm thinking the hit may have damaged the HU or something.
I filed a police report and everything against the guy since he lives on that road, but he basically told me where to shove it when i asked him to pay for the damage. So i guess we're going to court over it but w/e. Any ideas?
