I have had no problem with my '93 Bose sound system until now. The stereo has power and seems like it's playing o.k., but now there is no sound? I checked for loose wires but found none. If there is a fuse to check, where is it?

Did you ever get this resolved. I now have the same issue. I bought my 93 2 yrs old and the Head Unit had to be replaced soon after I got it. Now over the last 2 months I would hear a load pop noise from all the speakers and the sound come and go. Recently I also lost all sound from the system. And like you said the CD spins, the tape spins and I can change channels on the radio but I get no sound. Until this morning which was really cold and I had sound after driving for 25 minutes. But next time I got into the car 1 hour later there was no sound again. any help would be appreciated.

 

i am putting the speakers back in to prep the car to sell.....and i will have sound (after the battery has been disconnected for a while) for like 10 min....then all the sudden i dont get any sound....what the hell...we really need so help
