Well, 8 sq ft, wont do much at all. I would suggest installing the subs to see where the rattles are and place it all there. Otherwise, use it all on the rear deck.....

Underneath your deck lid and underneath your trunk lid. What kind of Dynamat is it? Extreme, Premium, Super, or Original...just curious.

Install Complete

Dave: I used dynomat extreme got a friend's discount at best buy $11 per 4 sq ft. I went back and bought the last one they had on Saturday, so I put 12 sq ft in the trunk. I put in the subs and all my rattling came from the spare tire well. So I used around 8 sq ft in the well and 4 sq ft on the trunk lid.

The install went very smooth I am very impressed at the orion hcca amp. I am running 2 12" orion xtr series 3 bridged (mono) and after 4 hours of serious use there was not one loss of bass or flickering of the amp. The amp was a little hot but very, very surprised at the clarity and response. For my first car stereo and my first install it went great. Took me about 7 hours b/c in the process of installing a friend decided to build me a custom box with amp rack on the back that folds into the skihole...he always has to have it completly professional looking which doesn't bother me for a very unprofessional $45. Most of the rattling was stopped by the dynomat but I plan on using most of the 100 sq ft of raamat I just ordered to completly deaden the car. Sould have pics as soon as I get new batteries for the digital camera.
