It would be 880 watts. What do you think Should I go for it?? Or should I go with a differnt amp if so what do you reccomend. Thnaks for any help

I don't have a lot of experience with sony, in fact i've never used them, but i will say this and you can take it however you want to, when it comes to car stereo equipment you really do get what you pay for, and there's usually a reason a 5 channel high power amp (or any other xplod amp) is priced 100 - 200 dollars less than comparable amps made by other brands.

NO. Dont get Sony Amps. They're very new in Car Audio, and I would never use their amps, at least for now.

Go to Elite Car Audio Forum and you'll see how much people talk about how weak they are. (I think, hehe)

With MB's, man, get a DEDICATED quality amp. It'll work best that way

Just trying to help.

Don't buy anything with the word "Sony" on it. All of their stuff sucks. Terribly unreliable.

Oh, and as far as using a 5-channel amp, they are excellent value and simpler than using several amps. They use the exact same internals as the 2-channel and 1-channel amps of the same series by the same manufacturer, just in one chassis (thus the lower price compared to buying the same thing separately- you always get a discount when you buy one large item instead of lots of little ones to try and equal the large item).

Depending on what componants you are gonna use and amp budget.

1)if I wasn't gonna bi-amp the componants I would get a good 4 (4x100) channel amp use 2 for fronts, bridge amp and run rear off of head unit. a five channel wouldn't give enough front driver power for my tastes.

2)In my P-Finder I have a DEI-650 5 channel (good amp great value) 4x50 to tweets and rears, sub channel running 2 4 ohm svc JL 10s. Front drivers off any decent stereo amp 100+ amps. The DEI (directed) was about $300.

my $0.02
