Hey,

I used to have a relatively decent sound system. I recently sold it and am buying a power 800a2 amp (800x1) and and two 15 inch HE2s (500rms each) new in the box for 550$.

I have three questions:

1. Is this a pretty good deal?
2. Is this going to pound?
3. What kind of enclosure set up or style should I use to have this fit in the back of my third generation Maxima?

How am I gonna make a box big enough for the 15s but small enough to fit in my trunk? Will I have trouble?

the max has the biggest trunk space in it's class i believe....i have seen plenty of peep with 2 15" in the trunk of a max...u will not have a prob with the 2 15" w/ the box in the trunk...of course the magnet of those rf are big and heavy as well...hope it doesn't sag ur *** too much...

PLEASE let me know where you're getting a deal like that. I've been looking around for some good deals on Rockford fosgate, and i can't seem to find a good package. WHat you described is unheard of, all that audio should go for at least 1000$, if not more.

Civicpride, I got my deal online of course. Ebay to be more specific.

I've just been looking for a while for a good deal to come up so I snatched it! Unfortuantely I have to pay mad amounts for shipping cuz I live in Canada but I guess it's still a pretty good deal.

So just keep looking on Ebay and you're bound to find something good, thats what I did.

thats gunna pound pretty good...i was looking into the rf hx2's but went with the kicker solobaric and the baric havent disappointed me. the 2 15's i think would need a bigger amp to power those subs. definately run it in a sealed box as it pound better.

 

Why do you think I need a bigger amp? I mean I'll be pushing the subs at 80% of what they can handle. Isn't that a nice amount of power?

I'm asking because I don't really know!
