I'm planning to get a stroker 18 and runing the recomended 800 watts per voice coil to it... would doing this crack my windows? Or would it pop my truck??? I know I will have super rattles but that can be fixed easier than broken windows and truck lids.....

No one around here runs strokers so I don't know if they can break windows please fill me in....

Anybody know how big of a box I need for this sucker???

.... over the passed year or so ive had about 1600-2400 watts in my trunk and the most ive done it break the seal on my rear window ...and my drivers door glass sorta shattered inside the door (my own fault for being careless)

and the box spec from CV's web site shows almost 7cuft airspace...which isnt impossible...but i personally wouldnt do one...

the stroker 18 takes a huge box but it will put out a lot of bass. I have seen people run a lot more than 800 watts per coil. You should npt have any problems with windows popping. My car hits 146.7 and i havent had any problems except for the roof and windows flexing about 2 inches

Your windows woun't flex untill at least 155db..however at the level the seals are more likely to blow. Windows woun't crack till about 160db. Course by then your def. My last shop had a car that did 171.4 and needed renforced plexi windows. Keep in mind at the level you can't be in the car because your heart can't take it(in all seriousness).

i was planning on getting another 800 and running one per sub. then i think i will probably go deaf witht that setup considering that some bass notes get to my head.
