Switching Head units.. Kennwood KDC20115 to a Pioneer DEH P6200... help

Ok,
Im going to take my brothers headunit which is a lot better than mine, and it has Aux out (Installing a TV!). So can i just easily switch them, or is it going to be all weird? A buddy of mine is going to take out the head unit from my bros car and put my old one in his car. Any complications in doing this?
Thanks!

in my head this sounds right....reply with any misunderstandings..

pull both head units out ...take both wiring harnesses out (disconnect from factory harness side ) ...cut the harnesses apart as center as possible ... match all harness adapter wires up with whats on the pioneer by color, or color/stripe.

and do the same with the kenwood and the other car harness adapter

ok well Kenwood plugs and Pioneer plugs are pretty much the same. Just take out the wiring harness you bought for your car(x2 plus) cut off the old kenwood harness from it, leaving as much as possible on the harness for the car. Now just line up all of the colors.

Pioneer radios are actually the easiest to install because they are very clearly labled. Remmeber to re hook up the power antena wire from the cars harness(light blue) to the blue/white wire from the radio. Everything else is matching colors.

goodluck,

Anthony
