Okay, well I've got the double din opening from the bose unit. I took out my previous single din unit and now have the hole for the double din. In the double din I'm putting a 5.6" lcd monitor, requiring some customization work (fiberglass). Also, I'm removing the push-out tray that is right below the double din area and replacing it with my new head unit. Connected to this I'll have an external DVD player and a TV tuner hooked up. How much should I pay for this installation?? Basically, I'm installing a tv screen, head unit, dvd player and a tv tuner. I've gotten an estimate and would like to see what you guys think I should pay.

 

i just got a dvd player w/monitor, 2 amps, 4 speakers, 1 sub, a DD/DTS Processor, a center channel speaker, and a tv tuner installed--installation was $380 so...

 

damn that's a good deal compared to what I'm getting charged. For my stuff I'm getting qouted $300. You got a $hitload more stuff installed for only $80 more. Hmmm....I'm gonna have to have him break down the install. I know he said for the monitor install it will be $165. I think that right there is killing me. MATT, do you have pics of your monitor install??

 

not yet, my car (2k2 max)broke 2 days after the stereo was put in (5 days after i bought the car)--i made some posts on this under "Big Problem...need Help" --but i will post pics when all is said and done
