Speaker Wiring

Im putting components in my two front doors and I have a question about wringin them up. Do I have to run wires from teh speakers to the amp or is there a harness I can purchase and then hook it up to an amp! THANKS

Re: Speaker Wiring

i don't think there's such thing as an aftermarket adapter...the best thing you can do for sound is run wires straight from the amplifier to the speakers. make sure you don't just go back through the original head unit wiring in the dash...just run a good thick guage wire from the amp through the doors.

No you don't HAVE to, but it is recommended. You can always just take you amp wires and connect them to the stock wiring and let that work. If you have an aftermarket head unit, you should have gotten the wiring harness that allows simple connection without cutting any factory wires. If you got that harness you can just attach the amps wires to the leads for the front and rear speaker on that harness.
