Installed Pioneer 6x9's today, WOW!!
Just got finished installing some Pioneer Premier 6x9's.

i got them at cost for $120
They took me about 3hours to do the conversion, suked a$$. I reccomend buying a brand new pair of tin snips(right angled ones)cause its a b!tch to cut the holes with a straight tin snips. Securing them was another issue cause i made the hole a lil too big for the speaker, so i had to use some backstrapping to mount the speaker correctly. Then i had to cut out the rear deck lid big enough for the new speaker to fit through.
As for the rear deck i eliminated the rear vents and stripped/re-carpeted the entire deck lid to match my interior exactly
Looks sweet from inside and outside. Oh one last thing i relocted my trunk dome light so when i get a smaller 4channel for my interiors it can be mounted between the 6x9s out of the way
Overall they blow away my 6 1/2's, they have twice the bass and twice the mids/highs. If you have the time and patience id strongly reccomend converting to 6x9 rears.
