I have the peripheral version of PAC's universal steering wheel controller and was planning to install it tomorrow. Unfortunately the search function is less than effective since the forum upgrade.

1) Where is the harness I need to connect to? Behind the radio or under the driver side dash?

2) Where's the best location for the emitter LED (5.5 gen)?

Any reason you didn't get the brand-specific PAC units that don't need an IR receiver? They make them for practically all models of head unit.
