Alpine Blackbird with Alpine Headunit questions

I have an Alpine IVAW200 unit in my stang. I want to add the Blackbird Navi unit, and the cradle.....Do any of you have this, and how well does it work. I want to have a fairly well functoning navigation setup in my car. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have the W200, the Blackbird and the docking station in both of my vehicles. I love the set-up. The only drawback as with all harddisk navs is that it isn't updated. You have to get an update disc from Alpine but they have only made one and that was a couple years ago.

Yeah there is no update for the alpine navs yet..

It works fairly well, though there have been instances where the user was unable to control anything from the deck (nav side, it was a blackbird problem), just make sure you buy the blackbird authorized, so if something comes up they can swap it out (somewhere local is best, they generally can do it over the counter).
