Picked up a 12W7. What should I upgrade?

As the title says, I picked up a JL 12W7 along with a 2000 watt memphis mojo amp which has no problems pushing this sub. I also installed a yellow top optima battery. My lights do not dim even at full volume and voltage seems to stay between 14.1-14.4 if that matters. I don't know much about capacitors and in what situations you need them along with high output alternators which is why I started this thread. First off, I was told by a friend that if I'm going to get a capacitor, get a batcap instead. Anyone have any experience with these? Also should I upgrade the alternator to be safe? I MAY be adding a second w7 in the future but probably not anytime soon so just in case, I'd rather do what needs to be done for that now so I don't have to deal with it later. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

if your lights aren't dimming and you aren't experience any losses that you know of, why are you searching for an upgrade?

no point in doing those things if you're not having problems. i would do the "big 3" though.

*edit*btw cpacitors are worthless.

like others stated, dont bother with the cap, or batcap. espesically if theres no dimming or anything (not that a cap will solve the problem anyways).

If anything, caps put more drain on your electical.

If you're itching to upgrade, work on your frontstage. Im sure its being overpowered anyways (guess).

Actually more like preventative maintenance. I already had to replace my alternator twice and don't really don't see a point in having to replace it a third time for something that can easily be avoided. But if I do decide to add a second sub, what would you guys recommend upgrading if anything if I get dimming? The big 3 will be done when I do my 3.5 swap next month.

the big three, and the only other thing you really can do that will make a dramatic difference is a HO alternator.
