not 1 ohm stable. same power at both 2 and 4 ohms however.

they are great amps, but for the price, eh, possibly not. You're really paying for the size and 'digital' signal, but it is great that they don't get hot, and the SQ (and output) is pretty damn good. If you can get one cheap definately scoop one up though.

How about the Alpine PDX... vs.. an JLAudio Slash 500/1 (Not V2) i think its rated... 500watts 1.5-4ohms? Could the JL be possibly underrated power?

P.S Theres a PPI A600.2 on ebay right now.. the guy thought i was playing around with him and banned me from bidding on his item.. so which i just got the JL since, because i didnt feel like 400+ dollars.. because i need a 17x7 rim for my car.. since i kinda cracked one in half by hitting a curb @ 60mph

PDX owns the JL. You are all over the place with your choices, get the PDX, and / thread.

Good, small amps. Underrated, regulated power supplies and regulated output at 2 and 4 ohms. 8 ohm performance is good too. I plan on buying them when I do my car system. Lots of good power in a small footprint.

yeah i just purchased a pdx4.150 from crutchfield. we will see how it does, since the JL 450/4 i bought used was no good. Amp turned on but amber light was on. So I went ahead and got a new pdx amp. I have read good things about them. The size is sure a plus. the technology is neat also.

I have a PDX-4100 in the trunk. No issues. Love the size vs power advantages.
