2002 Carputer Mounting Locations

Hey guys,
Have some spare parts layin around for a carputer. Was wonderin where some good mounting points are it are? In the dash/under seats/trunk...would rather stay away from trunk and mounted to back on rear seats isn't an option either. TIA people!

definately recommend the trunk unless you have some really low power, low heat processor. Mine works marvelously in the trunk. It gets really messy if you want to put it under the seat.

Yea I got my subs in the trunk right now so I don't really want to put it in the trunk, want to do it nice and clean, but if I attach it to subs vibration from subs would be hard on hard drive...unless I could get a big *** flash drive.

Underneath rear deck
If you can get it small enough, behind dash
Underneath driver/passenger seat
Glovebox, if you want to go that route.
In the trunk mounted to the back of the rear seats

The list goes on...

I'd go with the jump drive idea.
get 2, one for the OS, and one for the music.
use a usb extension cable so you can take the music drive out, unless your monitor has built in usb ports...
2gig should be plenty for your os/frontend, i should think, unless you start having games 'n' stuff.
OR you could get a bus powered external hard drive instead of a 2nd jump drive. more space, cheaper cost per gig, and it'll be up front with you, and
