so i put a 12 inch e-series sub into an old q-logic open box and it sounds 10 times better than the bandpass i bought and had installed it in. bandpass, good for shows and trucks only period. just thought i'd fyi for any1 looking to do a port3d bandpass for their max.

 

Bandpass, unless tuned right, is not good for anything.

 

Not for SQ, any way. I have never heard a BP box sound good; even one that was tuned like it was supposed to be.
