hey all you peeps, i'm new to the forum and everything so help is appreciated...

here's the story: i have a 2nd generation Maxima (1992 GXE) that had a refurbished head unit. Before i had replace the head unit three of my speakers (or amp i don't know) would not have any sound, but instead would occasionally just stutter than screetch at like really high pitches. i thought it was the head unit so i like got a Sony CDX-M610 AM FM Motor Face CD Player. when i connected the wires, i left off the three speakers that were screwing up. however that didn't work cuz when i turned on the head unit the one speaker i connected worked, but the other three would still stutter and screech. my question is wtf is wrong with my speakers/amps and like wat can i do about it.

Do you currently have the Bose system in your Maxima and are you using the Bose amps and speakers through your Sony head unit?

i'm still using my bose amps and speakers. the only thing i changed was the head unit
