2006 nissan frontier directechs..

whats up, i have to do a 2006 frontier for a friend, and im wondering if i can use a 1100N because it is ssupposed to be a surprise present for Christmas and would prefer not having a key made, also if you could post the diagrams for this truck i would really appreciate it. Also if the 1100n cannot be used what are my other options that dont require the use of an extra key.

Not all need a bypass, but a 556U or XK07 would be preferred. Although if you dont have the up[loader for the XK07 Id stick with the U.

Thanks Don. I gotta look at the key, im assuming if it has a square "thick" head, it has the immobilizer i was under the impression that it is a standard feature on the Crew Cab, and optional on the King Cab LE and Nismo. Im trying to do this as easy as possible, with out losing a spare key. Your also saying that the xk07 do not have a pre installed firmware ? What if i purchased one from you and you flashed it for me since i know you have the part

Then you can just use the XK07 with the PKN3 firmware.

also when it says

Factory Alarm Arm lt. blue - driver kick or BCM, pin 8
Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder. This wire will also lock the doors. The BCM (Body Control Module) is to the right of the steering column.
Factory Alarm Disarm red/white to gray - driver kick or BCM, pin 7
Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder. This wire will also unlock the doors with a double pulse. The BCM (Body Control Module) is to the right of the steering column.

should i just hook up the factory alarm arm/disarm wires and not hook up the power unlock / lock since it seems like the factory ones will unlock and lock when pullsed by the brain?

You *could* but Id see no reason not to just use the doorlock wires. Factory alarm disarm is not needed in these vehicles.
