Metra HU harness question

I picked up the metra harness for my new HU the other day and just unpacked everything for an install today(first day off from work in a while, lol). Anyway i was confused about a few things. I thought it was supposed to be plug and play, what i got was two separate connectors each with about 5-6 wires with bare ends. Am i supposed to match the colors to the harness that came with the radio and just solder the ends together? And is there a reason for two different connectors? My best guess is ones for the speakers and the other is for power, but before i go soldering away i figured i better ask.

BTW i know these are newbish questions but i prefer not to mess up my car or radio so all help is appreciated.

Na i dont have bose, i just finished the job about an hour ago, i decided to crimp not solder after seeing how many wires there were to do. Only ones i didnt connect are the amp power and ATT? I dont even know what that is, but i dont have an amp and i dont know what att is so im assuming i dont need it, correct?

Anybody, input on those wires i mentioned above. Reason i ask is i ran out of crimps and i'd rather not have to pick up more from work(no home depot discount for employees).

Check my sig, it's already in now so kinda pointless to answer. But i do have a different question now. When i installed it using the metra pocket kit it didnt line up correct. There a 1/4" of the trim piece showing. Almost like the oem faceplate is 1/4" too low. But when i installed it the screw all lined up, any ideas here. Most other peoples installs look so clean, and yet i dont know why.
