is it ok to connect a monir to the capacitor

i have a 7" legacy monitor laying around so i thought to throw it in my trunk along whit the subs the question is is it ok to hook the monitor and the video amplifier directly to the cap that powers the amp will it be too much power for the monitor and the video amp coz the power wire on them are very thin

where should i run it from, i got the wire from the battery to a cap and from there to a distributer block. so shall i hook them to the distributer or run a wire from the 12v outlet in the dash?

if you have a distribution block, then i assume you have a couple of amps. if you are using a relay to turn on your remote lines on the amps, then you could also wire your monitor to that relay. this way, it'd only get power when your head unit is on and wouldn't drain your battery.

no i only got 1 amp i haven't installed them yet. i bought the distribution block before i bought the amp. speaking of the remote line, how should i hook the remote turn on line to m new amp coz its already hooked to the bose amp, so do i have to do the whole thing using a relay or can i splice the wire on the middle and attach the wire from the subwoofer amp
