how to add a relay to a capacitor

i just bought a fosgate cap and it doesn't have the digital volt meter or the protection relay, do i need to have a relay on the cap and if i do how do i make the circuit, not really worried about the volt meter

trade in the cap for a digital voltmeter and call it a day

Or just return the cap because you don't need it.

Voltmeter?

unless you have a very involved system.
