Valor multimedia

has anyone one ever hard of Valormultimedia http://WWW.VALORMULTIMEDIA.COM i saw one their 7inch indash screens at the local trading post. it looked pretty good reasonably priced at that. The following week i picked up a mag called performance auto & sound and saw an advertisment, for the company. So i hopped on the net did some searching and found their website. They have a few nice "looking" TFT and double din moniters.I was also told at the trading post that this company is an entry level,or subdivison of alpine.Which sold me right then and there. But check the website, there's no mention of alpine what so ever.I know some companies have entry level equipment like Jenson has Phase linear, thats the only one i can think of right now.i figure i'll come to the audio nuts first before i make the decision on the purchase. thanks in advance

If it indeed is an entry level alpine, I would suspect it is at least 75% the quality of alpine. The best thing you could do is try to find a dealer locally and play with one, see if you like it.

There is no ties between Alpine and Valor. Its 'decent' product on the cheap. You can also look at ... www.icontv.com but pay no mind to the SRP pricing.

I would expect more from you then a comment like that. Do you honestly think Alpine makes their own?
