Wiring One sub to a two channel amp.

I am going with a completely new setup in my car, going with one 10" Kicker Solobaric L7. What is the appropriate way to wire this single speaker to my two channel amp. I want to do this in order to give the woofer all the power. I know how to install every component of a stereo, but not so sure on all the big stereo words. So I think I want to wire the speaker so it gets all power, mono. (I dont know what I am talking about) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check the owners manual that came with the amp, if the amp is bridgeable it will tell you how to do it. Sometimes the instructions are on the Amp. A bridgeable amp can combine the power of two channels to one, or in the case of a four channel amp 4 to 2. Some amps have a switch for bridged mode and others you use the positive from one channel and the negative from the other, but only do it like the manual says.

If the Amp is not bridgable your only choice would be to find a dual voice coil sub or get another amp.
