I've seen plenty of people needing double din adapter, but I need a clean looking single DIN adapter. I just went to Fry's and bought a multi kit, which is for a few different nissan/infiniti cars. When you flip to 00-03 Maxima in the directions it says no picture available, and refer to All car installation. Well, that involves, gaps on both sides of the kit, a gap on the bottom, cutting off tabs, and a very horrible looking dash kit. I just don't see the point in even having the damn thing. So does anyone have any recommendations as to a maybe color matching dash kit? I noticed the semi popular ebay one, but its color just isn't a very good match...

expensive lol, I ended up buying the American International dash kit, from beach audio for $16.00 shipped from my own state...so it should be here pretty quick. Anyone have any experience with these dash kits? anyone maybe have pictures of it so I can see how the color matches up? I'm afraid if it doesn't match up I'll want to paint it...

 

That espensive kit is the only truly color matched kit, and its only expensive because its OEM from Nissan and replaces the a/c vents as well. Both the Metra and AI kits are black, and the Scosche kit is gray, doesnt match perfectly but its the only cheap one that isn't black, but it still isn't worth it because its Scosche and a PITA to install.
