1/0 gauge adapter

Hey guys,

I been working on my setup for quite a time and taking my time to get it right. I'm running 1/0 guage to the trunk. The cable wont reach the amp so I need to add another 3 feet to the existing cable. Is there some kind of adapter I can use where I could connect both pieces togeter? I have googled and only come across items that only accept up to 6 gauge and they are not meant for automotive use.

Also, any ideas on a quick disconnect method? I would like to quickly disconnect the power, ground, remote, RCA, and speaker leads in one easy plug. I want to do this so that if I ever need to remove my amp to access my spare or go to the track to get rid of the extra weight I could simply unplug everything from one location. I'm too lazy to unscrew from the amp, Lol.

Thanks in advance

Maybe you could use a fuse holder as a coupling?

How much wire did it take to get from the battery to where you are now? I just bought ~21 ft of 0ga wire and am hoping it is going to be enough to do my whole 97 Maxima...

+2 on inline fuuse holder. another cool idea is a circuit breker so if you're playing around in your trunk you can trip the breaker and not have to pull the fuse from under the hood.

I like that idea. I will definatly look into that.

As for the quick amp disconnect idea I though about buying those 3 prong power sockets (male and female) and use the prongs to hook up my power, ground, and remote. I will test this out and see how it works.
