how to series wire subs??

how to series wire subs??

i have a 15" kicker comp vr 2-ohm dvc sub that im hooking up to a rockford fosgate p450.2 amp. i need to know how to wire one of the positive voice coils with one of the negative voice coils. what kind of wire do i need to use?? here's a wiring diagram of what im trying to do:

Theres going to be two pairs of terminals, usually on opposite sides of the subwooder. Just do as the picture shows. Run one strand of wire connecting a positive terminal with the negative terminal of the OTHER side. Then just wire the remaining two terminals like normal...

As for wire, use something along the lines of 12-16 gauge with multiple strands (IE not one big piece of copper), you can find it at most hardware stores.

so basically the wire i use to bridge the coils has to be copper??

What else were you planning to use? Just use some darn speaker wire and call it a day.
