2v vs 4v Preamp outputs what is the difference and which is better
Right now i need a new headunit and i'm stuck with 2 the pioneer AVH-P4000DVD and the kenwood DDX512 both have the same specs except the kenwood i can add a gps module and the pioneer can't, and the Kenwood have 2v preamp out puts and the pioneer 4v, whats the difference and is it going to make a huge difference?

Hard to say without knowing your complete setup.
The 4v maximum output is nice when you have external amplifiers for things like your mid/tweets and what not.
But again it depends on your overall system. Amps? speakers? etc.

Then it really won't matter.
If your going to add expensive amplifiers and components later on, it might and only to a small degree.
Just go for whichever one you like. Since even both 2v and 4v will be functional for a future amplifier setup.
