is this possible??
my friend was gonna give me his stock cd player out of his 98 toyota avalon. will it fit in my 95 max without any wiring harnesses? or will i have to get a harness? do they even make one for this and.. if i do need one, where can i find one?
Why....
....do you want to do that? Do you not have a CD player in your Max? If he is giving it to you then that's cool...wouldn't but it though. Do you have the Bose system? If so....yes there is converters. If not.....don't know.

in order to do the switch, you would need to cut the harness out of the avalon, and cut the harness out of your max. after cutting out both harnesses, you need to match up all the wires from the avalon to the wires for the max and splice them together. If you do end uop doing this, go to www.installdoctor.com and look up what each wire is in the avalon, and what each wire is in your max.

A wire harness company scosch and aamp are others. they run about 15 each. If you cut wires rewiring when selling becomes another task. and for every rewire there is that much less wire to work with. I couldn't find metra's web site but here are the part #'s for Scoshe.
